You may have read in the press recently about some of the long-stay car parks in Leeds being closed. I have received enquiries about this and below is the most up to date information I have received from Cllr. Richard Lewis.
The recent decision by the planning inspector to close seven long-stay car parks in the city has affected many people using these facilities. We are conducting an urgent review into long-stay car parking in the city to look at what the council can do to alleviate the situation.
If you receive correspondence on this issue I would be grateful if you could forward it to my office.”
If you would like to make any comments on this I will pass these on to Cllr. Lewis, as he has requested above.
