I am pleased to report that the Robert Craven village hall in Bramhope is set to benefit from new water pipes thanks to funding from myself and my Ward colleagues.
The old lead pipes will be replaced with alkathene ones, designed to improve water flow and reduce the risk of contamination. Although the trustees of the village hall had already set aside some money for the necessary work they needed a top up from the North West Outer Area Committee’s wellbeing fund. £2500 has been allocated to make up the funding shortfall.
Robert Craven Memorial Hall is a popular building, well-used by local people. It’s important that we continue to help maintain the village hall so that future generations can continue to enjoy what it has to offer.
