The Met Office has recently issued a cold weather alert across the region with temperatures predicted to fall below -2oC. Please find below a reminder of some of the assistance available to householders during the cold weather:
Warm Homes Service
The Warm Homes Service can provide repairs to heating systems and repair or replace broken boilers in vulnerable homes. This is available to homeowners or private tenants.

The Green Doctor (run by Groundwork) provides basic energy efficiency measures including door and window draught-proofing, reflective radiator panels, pipe lagging and other devices. Green Doctor also provides face to face advice on practically reducing energy bills.

Wrap Up Leeds +
The Wrap Up Leeds + scheme is now live and available in Leeds. This allows homeowners and private tenants to install a range of energy efficiency measures for an interest free loan, or in many circumstances, for free.

The CAB provides a range of advice including help with benefit checks, applications and appeals, along with advice about utilities including issues with fuel.
