ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991 – BLACK HILL ROAD, ARTHINGTON AND ARTHINGTON ROAD, ECCUP, LEEDS

The following notice has been issued by the Council in respect of Black Hill Road:

WHEREAS Leeds City Council is the traffic authority for the Leeds Metropolitan District; and

WHEREAS carriageway resurfacing works are to take place.

TAKE NOTICE that in the interests of public safety it is considered necessary to prohibit vehicular use of Black Hill Road, Arthington from its junction with Arthington Lane and  Arthington Road, Eccup to its junction with Eccup Lane.

DIVERSIONARY ROUTE: The diversionary routes for vehicles affected by the closure will be:

1.      via Arthington lane, Otley Road, Weardley Lane, Eccup Lane and vice versa, and

2.      via Arthington Lane, Pool Bank New Road, Leeds Road, Otley Road, Church lane, Eccup Lane and vice versa.

PERIOD OF CLOSURE/WORKS: The works are to take place between 0800 and 1800 commencing on Thursday 25th April and to be completed on Wednesday 1st May 2013. It is expected that the works will be completed within two days during this period.
