As you are no doubt aware the public toilets at Asda have been out of action for some time and I have been trying to find out from the Council when they will be in a position to re-open them. The latest update I have received from Corporate Property Management, Leeds City Council, is as follows:

“Property Maintenance have confirmed that they have met on site with ASDA and have agreed that the water supply will be taken from one of the empty shop units. An asbestos survey is being undertaken which ASDA have indicated should be carried out after the store has closed to customers on Sunday at 4.30pm. Dependent on the results of the asbestos survey, remedial works may be required before the water supply can be connected.”
