PLANNING APPLICATION VALIDATION CRITERIA

I received the following information which you may find of interest:

“Dear Councillor

The new planning legislation requires that we review and consult on our local requirements for validation for planning applications.  These contain details of information which must be provided, where relevant, with planning applications so they are valid.    I welcome your views on the proposed changes by Monday 1st July 2013.  This review looks at all the lists and aims to simplify the requirements as required by government.   In all cases the information we request will be necessary and in proportion to the nature and scale of the proposal and a material consideration in determining the application.  Please note that the requirements for Coal Recovery are currently being reviewed with the Coal Authority.

You can view the revised draft criteria for each application type by clicking on the Downloads tab on the Planning application validation criteria review page on our website.  We will consider the comments and aim to publish the new list before the end of July.”
