COOKRIDGE RESIDENTS ACTION GROUP (CRAG) – POTENTIAL DEVELOPMENT AT MOSELEY WOOD BOTTOM – NEXT STEPS

On behalf of the CRAG Steering Group and myself can I thank all of you who have either submitted your objections/comments to Leeds City Council on the proposed site allocations policy and can I also thank those of you who turned up at the Open Day two weeks ago and for taking the time to complete the questionnaire/comment forms which have now all been submitted to the Council’s Planning Department by members of CRAG. This was an excellent effort by everyone.

At a recent meeting of the CRAG Steering Group we discussed the need to find local residents amongst us who have the following expertise/experience/services:

  •  A property lawyer who would be willing to look at issues around local residents who have maintained land for a number of years, and need help to understand their legal rights.
  • Anyone who could provide low cost printing facilities.
  • Residents who are willing to share their expertise in fund raising.
  • Does anyone have pictures, they would like to share, of Cookridge in bad weather; flood, ice, snow etc.

CRAG (Cookridge Residents Action Group) also have a website you may be interested in http://www.cragleeds.co.uk so that you can keep up to date and local residents can share their opinions on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/StreetsOfCookridge

If you can help with any of the above requests please email me on barry.anderson@leeds.gov.uk
