I recently contacted METRO to request a public meeting be held to discuss the issues and proposals around the above bus service. I heard nothing back from METRO, however Pool E-news have emailed me details of the public drop in session. The details are as follows:
Following a reduction in funding from Leeds Bradford International Airport (LBIA), Metro has reviewed Service 967. From 26th January 2014 Service 967 will operate to a revised timetable.
The revised service will:-
*Maintain an half hourly link during the day on Mon-Sat between Otley and Menston (station) coordinated with trains;
*Provide an hourly service during the day on Mon-Sat between the Airport, Pool Village, Otley and Menston Station with some additional early morning journeys from Pool for commuters;
*Provide an hourly service after 18:30 on Mon-Sat and from 09:00 on Sundays between Pool and Menston Station.
