A brief update to let you know what happened at the Plans Panel meeting on Thursday in respect of the Moseley Wood Bottom application. Unfortunately the application for 135 houses was effectively approved at the Plans Panel meeting by 6 votes to 5 votes. I am very disappointed for all the residents who have put so much effort and time into fighting this application, especially the Cookridge Residents Action Group (CRAG) who have been unstinting in their efforts and left no stone unturned.

I will continue to work with CRAG as we are not giving up the fight. We will look to try every legal avenue possible within budget constraints to continue to fight this unsuitable proposal. When the Reserved Matters application comes forward this will give more detail in respect of numbers of dwellings, style, materials to be used, further information on drainage proposals and these need to be clearly set out by the developer.

I will continue to keep you advised as we will be watching careful for the Reserved Matters application and continuing to challenge all unsuitable features.
