Safer Leeds is the city’s statutory Community Safety Partnership, responsible for tackling crime, disorder and substance misuse. They have just published their Safer Leeds Plan for 2015/16. This seeks to achieve the outcome that people in Leeds are safe and feel safe in their homes, in the streets and in the places they go. There are a number of different authorities who are responsible for achieving this – The Council, the police, National Probation Trust, West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service to name a few.
