RESIDENT ALERT

I have been advised of the following by a resident today who asked if I would publicise this on my web page. The person received an email from Virgin Media entitled “Your latest Virgin Media Bill cannot be processed” and contained the following wording:

Hello [email address of person],
We could not process the payment for your latest Virgin Media bill.
Your billing details are either incomplete or outdated.
Your Virgin Media account is scheduled for disconnection.
Scheduled disconnection date: 26 September, 2015.
To continue using your service uninterrupted please update your billing details.
Click Here to update your billing details now.

Emails like this,  no matter how plausible, are possibly not bona fide and if you are unsure ring the company you are with.
