I received the information below from the Principal Urban Design Officer:

“Dear Councillor,

Although the closing date for nominations for this year’s Leeds Architecture Awards has closed, I would like to check whether there are any schemes in your wards that you would like to nominate. We have all the City Centre projects but not very many submissions from the far corners of the district. On the list already are the following:

Roundhay – Oakwood Clock Refurbishment (Conserved) and Community Gardens

  • 22 Street Lane Children’s Nursery (Conserved)
  • Canal Gardens Sculpture

Far Headingley – ‘Mazebrook’ (Altered)

Bramley War Memorial

Seacroft Grange – Springfield Care Village

Rothwell – Carlton Green (Altered/Conserved)

New Wortley Community Centre (New)

Hyde Park – St Mark’s Student Residences (New)

Bramham Park – Blackburn Wing (New)

Middleton – Asda roundabout Wildflower Meadow

Please let me have any suggestions at your earliest convenience.”

If you have any suggestions there is still time to forward them on.
