I have received a construction plan and map of where the show houses will be placed. Based on this the main sales area is going to be off Adel Lane, opposite Adel Pasture, however they have indicated below they are going to look for a temporary sales office off of Otley Road but the logic behind this hasn’t been explained. I met with the Planner recently to raise some concerns and set out below is the exchange of emails between the Planner and Bellway Homes. Other issues were raised but to date we’ve not had a response to them. The responses are from Bellway.
In regard to (16/02499/COND) condition 18 is concerned with construction management and the accompanying details indicate that the proposed working hours are Mon – Fri 0800 – 1800 Sat 0900 -1400 and at no time on Sundays or Bank Holidays. Whilst in the main these arrangements are considered to be broadly acceptable, I would suggest that the Saturday finishing time is 13.00. Would you therefore please amend? Also more generally, and to assist in advising Ward Members in the event of any complaints, can you provide me with details of a point of contact / mobile number of the site manager which I can pass on for information? Also in terms of the sales office and viewings, do you have a plan of how this is going to work? I.E where this is to be located and how potential buyers will be directed by vehicle to access the show properties? Response: I have attached a sales area plan for the permanent sales area. I am currently looking at a position for a temporary one preferably off Otley Road to start with. I have requested the details for the black and yellows which direct vehicles to sales however our sales manager for that site is off this week due to school half term so I should be able to get that to you next week.
