With an increasing number of people being encouraged to use online services for almost everything it means that companies providing digital services need to ensure these are easy to access, easy to use and secure. People need to feel safe when using websites. Another aspect is how readable these websites are. A recent Local Authority clarity index placed Leeds 49th out of 191 on this for their website; there is work still to do. To find out what people who use the Council’s website are experiencing, a number of developments and review of content management is underway. There are current surveys on and MyLeeds for users to give feedback.
