|REPAIR WORKS – EASTGATE & BREARY LANE|
|Location – Church Hill – Tredgold Garth|
The Council have sent a letter with the information below to residents in the vicinity of the work that is to take place.
“Every street in Leeds is inspected and assessed on an annual basis. The summary below of work gives detailed information about why the work is being undertaken and what it involves. The work of your street will comprise:
|Approximate start date:||Duration of work:|
|Footway||5 June 2107||9 weeks|
Due to the range of work involved there may be some delay between the different stages. We will try to keep this delay to a minimum and keep you informed at each stage.
During construction work it is usual that some disruption will occur, we will make every effort to keep this to a minimum. Access for emergency services and pedestrians will be maintained at all times. However, vehicular access to your property may be restricted and your patience and understanding will be greatly appreciated.
We are going to repair the footways in the above street. The following information will tell you the type of work we will be doing and a brief description of the work involved. As most streets have two footways it is possible that each footway may require different treatments. Therefore if there are two different types of work listed for the footway it means that each footway requires a different treatment.
We do this when the kerbs are in good condition but the surface of the footway has deteriorated. During the process we remove the tarmac, which will be recycled. We then replace with the appropriate materials.”
