PLANNING APPLICATION 16/06463 – UPDATE – LAND ADJACENT TO 10 DUNSTARN LANE

As you will be aware there is an outstanding planning application for the land adjacent to 10 Dunstarn Lane for the construction of 42 houses with associated access, parking, landscaping and public open space, including the demolition of 2 houses, one being The Heath.

I have just been advised that new information has been placed on the planning portal and further comments are being accepted by the planners in this respect. The main change to the layout is that an “access gap” to the next field (the green belt site off Dunstarn Lane) is now shown between two of the properties on the eastern edge of the development. This had been removed in previous iterations at the request of Cllr. Caroline Anderson and me and a number of residents following the public consultation phase. The developers were happy to remove it.  However, the planners raised concerns and this is presumably the reason it has been reinstated.
