FRIENDS OF BREARY MARSH

I have been asked to promote the establishment of a “Friends of Breary Marsh”  group. The Senior Ranger in Parks & Countryside who is setting this up has advised as follows:

“I am writing in regard to the Meanwood Valley: Wilderness on your Doorstep project.  The main aim of this project is to encourage local people to discover and help us to protect the wildlife of the Meanwood Valley.  To achieve this we will be delivering a wealth of events, volunteering activities, wildlife surveys and bioblitzes, as well as producing lots of interpretative materials.

As part of this project we are hoping to establish a Friends of Breary Marsh volunteer group, to help us to look after this valuable nature reserve. “
