I have received a number of queries in relation to when the grass is going to be cut on the Ring Road. Set out below is the response I have received:
“Ring Road grass cutting is on high speed roads in which traffic management is required and permits have to be applied through Highways and approved by them, so that they are aware of what is going on and for health and safety of continental operatives .
Ring Road grass cutting is classed as Primary network (in blue on our maps) is just a single pass of the outer and inner edges of the carriage ways to elevate sight line issues, section from Weetwood police station is Primary network class 1 and goes right through to King Lane Roundabout.
Next scheduled visit is Sunday 17th June 2018.”
