I have received the following road closure information in relation to the Leeds 10k to be held on Sunday 8th July

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2018
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Leeds City Council as traffic authority for the Leeds Metropolitan District, has today made an Order under Section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as inserted by Section 1 of the Road Traffic Regulation (Special Events) Act 1994, prohibiting and restricting the use of certain roads by vehicles to facilitate the holding of the Leeds 10K Run on Sunday 8 July 2018.
The event will require the closure of roads and road junctions as well as the suspension of Traffic Regulation Orders.
No person shall cause any vehicle to proceed in the length(s) of road specified in the Schedule (whilst the road closures are in place) during the specified times PROVIDED THAT such prohibition shall not extend to vehicles being used in connection with the relevant event.
The Order will come into effect on Saturday 7 July 2018 in respect of restrictions contained in the Suspension of Parking Schedule hereto and will continue in force as necessary on Sunday 8 July 2018 during the course of the event between 0400 hours and 1600 hours. The roads or parts of roads to be closed are set out in the Schedule hereto. Where necessary, local diversions will be in operation, signed as appropriate.
The Order will not at any time prevent access for pedestrians to any premises situated on or adjacent to any road to which the Order relates, or to any premises accessible for pedestrians from, and only from, any such road.
A copy of the Order as made and a Statement of the Council’s reasons for making the Order are available for inspection at the offices of Leeds City Council, Legal Services, Civic Hall, Leeds LS1 1UR (Ref:A76/RAH) and can also be viewed on the Council’s website. In addition a copy of the Traffic Regulation Orders suspended in whole or in part as a result of the proposed Order may be inspected at the Traffic Management Section, City Services Dept’, Selectapost 6, Ring Road, Middleton, Leeds LS10 4AX.
