I have been advised of the information below:

Health and care is changing. We want you and your constituents to be part of it

I am writing with details about an upcoming event designed and delivered by the People’s Voices Group (convened by Healthwatch). The Big Leeds Chat is their first city-wide listening event to hear people’s views on health and care in Leeds, building on the work that we’ve previously done on the Leeds plan.

On Thursday 11th October, health, care and third sector partners will be chatting with people in Leeds Kirkgate Market, all themed around health and wellbeing. It’s a drop in event for people of Leeds to have their say, share their opinions and knowledge of the services they use, and help shape those the future of health and care in their communities.

Please help the voice of your constituents be heard by promoting this event. More details can be found at If you’re on Twitter, please share the following:

Health & Care in Leeds is changing and we want you at the heart of those changes. Your opinions and experiences of services are important in shaping the future. On 11 Oct from 11am Leeds’ H&C services will be in Leeds Market ready to chat #BigLeedsChat

I hope to see many of you and your constituents at the event, and I look forward to hearing some great ideas about how we can transform health and care in Leeds, and meet our ambition of being the best city for health and wellbeing.

The HWB has outlined our City’s commitment to involve people so we are hoping this event will be the first of many more ‘Big Leeds Chats’ to come. To find out more about the event contact Healthwatch Leeds team on 0113 898 0035 or email
