ROAD CLOSURE A6120 RING ROAD – overnight from Monday 26th November to Friday 30th November

Please find below a notice in relation to the A6120 Ring Road overnight road closures starting Monday 26th November and lasting for 5 nights.

LEEDS CITY COUNCIL (A6120 OUTER RING ROAD, MEANWOOD LEEDS)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) NOTICE 2018

 WHEREAS Leeds City Council is the traffic authority for the Leeds Metropolitan District; and  

WHEREAS cats eye installation works are to take place. 

TAKE NOTICE that in the interests of public safety it is considered necessary to prohibit vehicular use of the A6120 Outer Ring Road, Leeds between its junctions with Weetwood Lane and King Lane.   

DIVERSIONARY ROUTE: A diversionary route for vehicles affected by the closure will be available via King Lane, Stonegate Road, Meanwood Road, Grove Lane, Shaw Lane, Otley Road, Ring Road Weetwood and vice versa.  

{Access to pedestrians, property and for emergency vehicles and construction traffic will be maintained}. 

PERIOD OF WORKS/RESTRICTIONS: The works are to take place overnight between 21:00 hours and 05:00 commencing on Monday 26 November 2018 and will last for 5 nights.  N.B.  The road will reopen outside of these hours.
