Please find below information on the 2nd Cookridge Community 10K, following a successful inaugural event last year.
“On Sunday 17 May 2020 the second Cookridge Community 10K and Fun Run will take place on a scenic route around Golden Acre Park in aid of Cancer Research UK and local charities and sports groups.
The run is dedicated to local fundraiser, Gareth Dunn, who sadly passed away from cancer in 2018 aged just 27 after raising over £100,000 for Cancer Research UK.”
10K race – starts 9.30am
Starting at the Cookridge Village Scout Hall on Pinfold Lane this is a flat, scenic, multi-terrain course containing one grass hill.
Fun Run – starts 9.00am
The Fun Run is open to everyone aged over four years, with no upper limit – it is suitable for wheelchairs and parents pushing buggies.
