Please find below information that may be of interest to you in relation to one of the new Urgent Treatment Centres:

You’ll be aware that NHS Leeds Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) has been working closely with its partners to repurpose the Wharfedale Minor Injuries Unit at Wharfedale Hospital so that it can be set up as an urgent treatment centre.

We wanted to let you know that, thanks to the hard work of all colleagues and partners involved, we received confirmation this week that Wharfedale can now be officially called an urgent treatment centre. NHS England and NHS Improvement is assured that we have met the 27 core standards and our shadow running of the site as an urgent treatment centre has allowed us to test the service prior to the official designation process.

In total over the coming years we’ll have five urgent treatment centres in the city.
