I have received updated information below regarding further night work at the junction of Holt Lane and Otley Road. A letter will be sent to households in the area which I have reprinted at the bottom of this post.
“On Tuesday 2 June works are planned to lay the permanent white lines and install induction loops for traffic signals. A contingency shift is planned for Wednesday 3 June should it be required.
The hours of work will be 6pm to 10pm, however if the current Covid-19 restrictions are lifted and general traffic levels increase these works may start later.
Whilst we are carrying out these activities road closures will be implemented at:
- Holt Lane from its junction with Whinfield to its junction with Otley Road
- Gainsborough Avenue point closure at its junction with Holt Lane
These closures will be manned and access to properties will be maintained. Signed diversions will be in place.
Following these evening works, the Holt Lane scheme will be substantially complete with only minor works remaining. We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your patience whilst these works have been carried out.
