Child Friendly Leeds Live – Go Orange on 5 August 2020 – Activities for Children on National Play Day

Child Friendly Leeds Live – #GoOrange on 5 August 2020

This year on National Play Day, 5 August, Child Friendly Leeds will be bringing the show which is usually in the city centre, directly to people’s homes free with a live stream event including some of our annual festival favourites and CBBC’s Alex Winters!

We are asking the whole city to #GoOrange for Child Friendly Leeds and have a free online resource pack (launching on 29 July) to encourage children and their families to get involved and create, make, bake and wear orange.  If you’re out and about in the city centre or parks on the day, you might even find some ‘orange’ surprises dotted around. Leeds Jurassic Trail also invites you to join in a city centre trail where you can hunt for the orange dinosaur eyes. Full details and regular updates will be available on our Facebook event page.

We want to encourage as many of our partners and colleagues to join in the celebrations as possible by helping us to turn the city orange on 5 August – so please share the message in your ward and on social media as well as with friends and family. We have some great prizes on offer for the best #GoOrange pictures and videos that we receive – so please encourage everyone to share these on social media using the hashtags.

To join the live stream event and access the CFL Live activity pack on 5 August, free tickets can be booked here.
